The association
FLAM Corée was born from a simple observation: in Seoul, dozens of children grow up with French at home and another language everywhere else. We give them a regular get-together to practise, deepen and love their family language.

Our mission
- Keep a strong bond with the French language and culture
- Foster balanced bilingualism
- Support parents in their role of passing on the language
- Keep the door open to a possible return to francophone schooling
The team
An association of volunteer parents, qualified teachers and cultural facilitators. The current board, elected by the members: Mélusine (president), Pierre (vice-president), Claire (treasurer) and Pauline (secretary).
The FLAM network
FLAM (Français LAngue Maternelle — French as a mother tongue) is a programme of the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, run by the AEFE. Around the world, it supports associations that keep French alive for French children not schooled in French. FLAM Corée carries the FLAM trademark and is a member of the FLAM Monde federation.
